My favourite place to be

To go to the gym is a great feeling, to go back home is even better. Then you know you’ve done what you’re supposed to do.

You’ve been working on your fitness and you feel fab. You look down on your chest and arms, not perfect but good enough. You’re not too muscular, you’re fit. You put your fingers on your neck, your heart is still working hard.

It’s okey. When you get back home and sit down on the balcony with a cup of tea in your right hand and watch the ships in the harbour you’ll love your life and think about how fortunate you are. You have a lovely family, wonderful friends, a great place to live. You’re living your dream working as a dancer and you’re born wealthy and independent.

That makes the gym my favourite place to be.

  1. I so get you, the gym is really addictive. Just started Yoga too yesterday. Really intense but so satisfying!

  2. Oh, I’ve actually never tried Yoga. Do you recommend it? I think I’m too active and restless to be sitting there hemming.

  3. Well, there are different types. I tried the Vinyasa yoga (= power yoga) in wich you trie to find relaxation through strengthening your muscles and proper breathing techniques. It ain’t easy but it sure is worth it. You get to do pretty difficult movements sometimes. And you have to be quite lean for it, but that won’t be a problem for you, being a dancer.
